Reseach Accomplishments

  • Found the stability criteria in large Lewis number stretched flames, e.g., white dwarf flames, through theoretical fluid mechanical analysis and combustion simulation. Preliminary results have been presented at The 10th U.S. National Combustion Meeting, and a manuscript has been published in The Astrophysical Journal.
  • Determined the reaction rate in low-temperature combustion of iso-butane using density-functional-theory-based quantum chemistry computation.
  • Developed magnetic resonance microcoil markers for motion correction in PET/MR and MRSI, which resulted 2 papers presented at the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine 2017.

Bachelor Thesis

  • Rigid Motion Correction Using MR Active Markers for Brain PET/MR
